I am one of the last people in America without a Facebook account. I have heard a lot of arguments for it, but I have yet to be convinced to join. If you think you can, convince me.
I will toss three rings onto the bottle neck of convincing you.
1. Rewind 20 years. Here we are in 1989. If in the future, this internet thing really takes off, one of its best potentials will be that it helps people connect with each other. Back to 2009. Here we are, the internet has taken off, and it's true, there is a function of the internet that helps us connect with each other. It happens to be called Facebook.
2. It's a free, self-maintaining address book, complete with photos. You never have to log on, yet it keeps working for you.
3. You want to get on. Otherwise you would not have written this post.
