I read quite a bit of Dostoevsky. His insite into human nature is stunning and his hope of salvation redeems his fiction. It is sometimes difficult, however to track with him on religious matters (an important theme in Dostoevsky fiction). Approaching his novels, written by an Russian Orthodox Christian, as an evangelical Christian I sometimes missunderstand him. I have found an article by Sam Storms (
