Evolutionists and Presuppsitional Apologetics

I have heard some creationists argue against evolution extensively using the arguments of evolutionists. Sometimes, evolutionists supply their sole source for quotes. What follows is merely a systemization of quotes from evolutionists admitting their own faults. This is far from helpful and I think a particularly ineffective apologetic. Yes, evolution has faults, and as much evidence should be gathered to disprove it scientifically as possible. Yet, this does solve the problem. The fact that evolutionist themselves admit that there is flaws in the theory of evolution does not prove that it is a damned theory. Nor does the accumulation of many such quotes nail the coffin shut over the head of evolution. The very fact that evolutionists readily admit that their theory has flaws and still hold that same theory is evidence that something more is needed. Pointing out that they are sometimes contradictory will also be rather ineffective. I would wager that most of these brilliant scientists are aware when they commit a contradiction. Yet they still hold to their theory. What is needed is a more presuppositional apologetic. One must admit that there is at issue here more than a contest of brute scientific facts. The heart is at issue. Most evolutionists have theological dispositions toward scientific naturalism. They are opposed to the gospel not just on scientific grounds, but theological grounds, and ultimately in the heart. An apologetic that encounters the whole man is needed; one that challenges the evolutionist’s scientific and theological allegiances.
