Quote: What Were In For

"I have seen the future, and, frankly, it looks like Uriah Heep with a Facebook account."
--Carl Trueman, writing here.

I find this hilarious. If you don't understand why, perhaps now would be a good time to read Dickens's David Copperfield. This is not only a hilarious book, but a serious, moving, and humane read--one of the greatest works in the English language.

  1. I like Dickens, but have so far only read Bleak House and Great Expectations. Maybe this'll be the next.

I just remembered that I hadn't subscribed to your blog. But now I have so you might be hearing more from me!
