"Probably the most important verse on sanctification in the Bible is 2^nd Corinthians 3:18: “We all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another” Beholding the glory of the Lord we are becoming like him. Beholding: becoming. Seeing the glory of the Lord for what it really is with the eyes of the heart, enabled by the holy spirit—to see it for what it really is—for change, God open our eyes. To see it for what it really is, to see Christ for who he really is, to see the glory of the grace of God for what it really is, changes us. And any other way toward change results in legalism.”
