Dear reader,
I must explain, that is, offer petty excuses and employ pointless logic. Over the past few months I have gotten into a good rhythm of posting regularly here. Then poof, 2011 happens, we successfully avoided the apocalypse, and I disappeared. Over a week of vintage quality 2011 has poured by at a supersonic pace, and I have yet to udder mysterious sayings and explain the universe to you. Dreadfully sorry :(
I once wrote why I don't mind if you never read this blog. The point was I'm just a pointer, not the main point, and you should skip the pointer if it never leads you to The Point. Well, I too have needed some time away from my blog. Sharing the point shouldn't occur simultaneously with finding a point. Sharing should be the end of a process of digesting truth into one's heart and life.
I don't want to claim to have arrived at all, but it has been a good break to assess my commitment to what I am saying, and examine where my time is going. With that said, I am as excited about this blog as ever. I hope to keep investing in Renewed Imagination, and look forward to the best year yet. I pray it will be helpful and enjoyable for you as well.
What's next? Next week will include some super belated but especially relevant Christmas meditations, along with my annual best of music list. Photo of the Day will move to Photo of the Week, mainly because it is way too cold (currently 3 degrees) to be taking many pictures . After that, who knows? This is post #294. I really don't want to know how many stupid things I've already said, but I probably will say plenty more dumb things.
In closing, reader, if you have blatantly ignored my fair and earnest warning (for your own peace and sanity) to cease and desist from reading this blog, and you still insist on coming back sometime in 2011, you could do us both a favor:
First, if you haven't already, you should really subscribe. It's easy, delivers all my posts instantly to you wherever you want, and you can quit any time. Just head over to the sidebar and pick you favorite subscription method. >>>>>
Second, please don't stock me; say hello if you're lurking in the area. Comments from time to time are great, because they tell me I may be doing more than throwing digital, paper airplanes full of scribble into cyberspace.
Third, if you ever buy stuff at Amazon.com, please consider getting there from a link on my blog. You'll support my blog, I'll get a cut of whatever your buying, and it won't cost you a dime (well, nothing extra).
Thanks for reading: I'm honored you trust me with your time.
Ryan
Sorry, Ryan. I've been stalking you for too long. Glad to hear you are keeping up this blog. I'm really loving the posts. Can I request some winter-themed pictures of the week?
