Awesome List for the Day

• It was really hot, but our living room was generally livable, almost cool
• Watching a thunderstorm roll in quite quickly
• Meditating and discussing Isaiah 5 with a brother
• Finishing Amed Ali Haile's amazing story
• Watching the documentary Running The Sahara
• Being inspired to do something a little crazy myself: Biked the Kennelworth-Cedar Lake loop on my singlespeed—my first 20+ mile ride without multiple gears
• Feeling alive enough to turn around as soon as I got home and bike four more miles and run 1.5
• Two generous bowls of ice cream to combat the heat

This may be the most insipidly person and vain blogpost in my history. Sometimes life is just unexpectedly awesome, and you got tell someone. And sometimes my Father is so good to me, I feel like shouting and jumping up and down and twirling on one foot. But I'm not sure how either my roommates or downstairs neighbor would take that. So I'm blogging instead.

I'll try to keep it from happening again.
