Quickly Now

One problem with writing, and especially writing infrequently, is that we forget so many of the brilliant  ideas we have. Writing quickly helps.

Courage wanes too. Boldness in our ideas is a perishable product. It needs nurturing and fruition, and a public life, as much as milk needs refrigeration.

So as mental cobwebs gather, we loose a wealth of pearls beneath the dust of time. Like this post. Rescued several times from permanent draft-hood, and then published on a whim, in kernel form.

It's the way our forgetful brains work.
